Calmness of the mind is one
of the beautiful jewels of wisdom. It is the result of
long and patient effort in self-control and high thinking. The calm man, having
learned how to govern himself; knows how to adapt himself to others; and they;
in turn, reverence his spiritual strength. They also feel they can learn of him
and rely upon him. The more tranquil a man becomes, the greater his success,
his influence , his power for good. The strong, calm man is always loved and
revered. He is like the shade of a tree. This is easy to say BUT;
humanity continues to surge with uncontrolled passion, dwelling in ungoverned
grief, is blown about by anxiety and doubt, and yet, when risen to higher
levels by Divine Wisdom and true connection with “Self” in its Oneness, makes the
winds and the storms of the soul obey him. It is time to quiet the mind”
